Brass Taxes: Who We Are & What We Do
We offer two tax appointment formats, you can learn about them here!
Updated 1 hour ago
If you're filing a tax return with Brass Taxes, we offer two types of appointments. They are the same price, so you are welcome to choose whichever is best for your needs.
This style of appointment offers you a face-to-face conversation (via Google Meet) with one of our tax advisors for a full hour. One-hour video appointments are required for new clients and folks living outside of the US. We also recommended them for people with many questions and those with complex tax situations.
In addition to preparing and filing your return, this time can be used to talk through additional questions you have. If you want to discuss business expenses in depth, paying estimated taxes throughout the year, or which retirement account is best for your goals.
This quick style of appointment happens over the phone at the number provided on your Brass Taxes account. These phone calls typically take between 25 and 35 minutes and happen within the selected one-hour window.
These appointments are great for long-time clients with simple tax returns. If you are busy and want us to get it done, these are for you!
When you're ready to get started, you can do it through your Brass Taxes account! Here is a quick guide: How do I get started?
Once you’ve selected your appointment, you will be prompted to pay a $50 deposit with a credit or debit card. This amount will be applied to the total cost of your return.
If you don’t need taxes filed, but want to meet with one of our advisors, we offer paid one-time consultations. Learn more about those here: Consultations at Brass Taxes.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you can do so through your Brass Taxes account, directly through the Google Calendar event, or by emailing info@brasstaxes.com.
If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 5 days' notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
